La Casona de Mestes is located in the heart of the Parque Natural de Ponga. It is an old Asturian house restored to enjoy rural tourism, with a hotel with capacity for 28 guests, a thermal baths house and a very interesting restaurant.
LA SIDRA – Located at the foot of the Cordal de Ponga, with Tiatordos (1951 m.) as a reference, at the same junction of the Ponga and Tarañes rivers and with the mythical Peloñu forest around it.
Access is easy from the N-625 Cangues d’Onís towards the Pontón pass, turning off towards Beleñu on the As-261 and then turning off towards Taranes.

With Xamín Abella at the head of the house, and especially of the kitchen, the restaurant service has a good presence of cider, from the natural Cañón to the Roxmut, Trompica calado, the cream of liquor and the liquor de sidra Los Serranos.
One hundred percent Asturian cuisine, at the moment we highlight the meats of Concejo Ponga, the fabada, beans with wild boar and peppers stuffed with wild boar. For after, Los Beyos cheese cream with honey is a gastronomic highlight.
