Traditional cuisine

At La Casona de Mestas you can enjoy Asturian cuisine in one of the pioneering restaurants in the revitalization of traditional Asturian cuisine, notable for its game specialties (fabes with wild boar, venison escalopes, etc.) and native breeds such as cabritu bermeyu, corderu xaldu, gochu asturcelta and pitu de caleya, seeking out local produce where our creations with Quesu de los Beyos stand out, sustainability and a way of understanding traditional slow-cooked cooking, with a touch of modernity with techniques such as low-temperature cooking.
Also worth highlighting are traditional dishes such as our homemade tripe or our pork loin with shrimp.

The restaurant is of large capacity and glazed to allow the company of the mountainous landscape of Asturias while tasting some tasty food. The restaurant service perfectly complements a stay in this corner of Ponga.

It has a terrace caressed by the Ponga river that flows a few meters away; it serves as refreshment during the summer season and entertainment to look for trout and sea trout with the eye.
